Chen Kieu pagoda built in 1815 on spacious area with green line of trees but it was damaged by Vietnamese war and it restored in 1969.
After that visitors who come back to the pagoda might be surprised by the unique architectures when all surfaces of the wall and columns for both the exterior are decorated with nearly 30 tons of broken porclain pieces including plates, bowls and vases.
The gate of pagoda is decorated with two giant stone Lion statues and the sanctum has 16 pillars carved with images of the legends of the Khmer culture.
The Chen Kieu pagoda located on Highway 1A at Dai Tan commune, My Xuyen District. It was acknowledged as a national culture relic in 2012.
